This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by LinkedIn Translator. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Essential storage

Essential storage supports security, authentication, language or theme preferences, rate limiting, and your Cookie choice. It is used because the requested site features cannot operate reliably without it.

• lt_cookie_consent records “all” or “essential” for up to 180 days so the banner does not repeatedly ask.
• Authentication cookies may store signed session or security tokens if you sign in. Their names and duration are controlled by the authentication system and may change with security updates.
• Locale, theme, sidebar, and form-flow preferences may be kept in cookies or local storage on your device.

Optional services

We load configured analytics, customer-chat tools, and Google One Tap only after you select “Accept all.” Depending on production configuration, these may include Google Analytics, Plausible, Crisp, Tawk, or Google Identity services. Those providers may set their own cookies or use similar identifiers under their policies.

Rejecting optional cookies does not disable the core translator. The exact third-party cookie names and durations can vary by provider configuration and should be checked in the production browser before those integrations are enabled.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the site footer to reopen the banner. Choosing “Essential only” replaces the previous optional-consent choice and reloads the page without optional integrations. You can also clear site data in your browser, but doing so may sign you out and reset preferences.
